One of my favourite funky tracks of late has (surprisingly) come from Madonna. Check out the song "She's Not Me" from her Hard Candy album. The one and only Wendy Melvoin appears on the credits and the guitar lick is a straight up re-working of Irressistable Bitch from the Purple Rain tour.
