Although I've always gotten the impression Van is an artist more concerned with pushing the envelope and challenging his audience, I do believe he has written some tracks which had serious hit potential and could've been big hits if they had airplay and label backing....
Namely:
The Lowest 1 Of My Desires (obviously a censored version) At The End Of A Slow Dance N The Southern Shade Mean Sleep Who Will Love Me In Winter

Add Being A Girl and Character to that list.

I think "At the End of a Slow Dance" could have been a big hit; on whose radio, I don't know, though.

To be honest, I couldn't really imagine any of his stuff getting played on any commercial radio today. And that says more about the abysmal state of popular music than it does about Van Hunt.

Hidden Charms Headroom Your Love Pedestal Emotional Criminal Character Moving Targets and....anything from the first album. I'm talking Pop radio, not R&B (or the list would be much longer!)
